Niño's Cat Adoption Services

Niño’s Cat Adoption Services

Servicios de adopción de gato de Nino

 Hi there!

I am Niño –  Spanish meaning -  “Little Boy”

I’m I good looking, or what? Si !   Shouldn’t have said that, now to the serious stuff. I’ll try to stop flirting with myself.  No, I am not up for adoption!

About me, uh I mean about us!

Me and mom go out every night and feed community cats. There are so many out there and most are abandoned.  I can kind of relate. Well, let me put it this way, my family was poor and couldn’t keep me because the apartment complex they were living in wanted a $600.00 deposit in case I pooped or something like that on the carpet. (Which of course I would never do. Do I look like I would poop on the carpet? REALLY!)  So, my birth family had to give me up and that is how Mom came to have me.

Mom has lots of cats and spends a fortune feeding and rescuing cats. My job is to keep Mom company at night when she is out risking her life to help our cats. Actually, I kind of like our community cat life cause I get to go with Mom when she makes her rounds.  Some of the cats we help are feral, but most are just abandoned.  Many cats live around stores, , churches, malls, and apartments where people just moved off and abandon them, or just drop them off because they didn’t have the heart to take them to the pound where they will probably be put to sleep – well, let’s face it – killed So, through this little blog me and Mom have gotten together we hope to reach out to y’all in the community to help us find really really good homes for our cats.  But, be forewarned, Mom doesn’t just willy nilly give cats to anyone.  There are some restrictions.  We’ll get to that later, but first let me introduce y’all to some of our pets.  One last thing – Mom writes about how the environment impacts the health of human pets.  So, y’all need to stay in tune for the real nitty gritty on all that stuff and decide for real how deep you want to go into giving one of our cats a forever home.

Remember, my name - Niño . My name is Niño! Niño! Thank you for visiting our website! Gracias por visitar nuestro sitio web!

Here is Bella's story.   Every night me and mom go to feed our feral cats at a store.  Well, Bella started coming and eating to, but she wasn't feral, she was real sweet and would come and purr and swish herself around Mom.  But three times Bella got pregnant and had babies.  But, her babies all died.  So Mom went around knocking on doors and asking people if they knew Bella.  One lady said Bella wasn't her cat, she was just feeding her.  So, Bella didn't have a home.  So Mom took her and had her spayed.  She is a super super sweet cat and goes crazy for attention.   She needs someone to just pet and love on her.  She just purrs and rolls over and over and makes biscuits and - well she is kinda of ridiculous to tell the truth.  She is overly demonstrative.  A drama queen, really. Folks you are really missing out if you don't get to know this señorita.

If you want to meet Bella call Mom at 850-484-0902.  We have lots of pictures and you can come over and meet Bella.
